Car Park Directions and Information

Formerly Parking Express, the Long Stay is Gatwick Airports Official Long-stay car park. Facilities include a number plate recognition system and high level of security with the Park Mark Safer Parking Award. On-airport and only 5 mins transfer from the South Terminal.

Arrival Procedure:

Take a ticket from the barrier and follow the signs to the appropriate area and park your car. Proceed to a bus stop and await a bus to transfer you to the south terminal.Follow directions to the appropriate parking zone. Make a note of your Parking Express zone, lane and bus stop number. At peak times it may be necessary for car park officials to park your car.

Departure Procedure:

After transferring back to the car park, providing your booking reference is printed on your entry ticket, drive to the exit barriers, insert your entry ticket and depart. Should the word CASHIER and NOT your booking reference appear on the entry ticket, park outside the exit office and exchange your entry ticket and email confirmation (or quote booking reference) for an exit ticket.

Directions:

From the North: The advised routes to use to access the M25 from the North of the country are the M40 (Birmingham, Midlands), the M1 or the A1 from the North East. Once on the M25 head for Heathrow and Gatwick until J7. Leave the M25 at junction 7 and head south onto the M23 (signposted Gatwick).

From the West: Take the M4 east in the London direction and then join the M25 towards Heathrow and Gatwick. Turn off the M25 at junction 7 and go south along the M23 towards Gatwick. From the southwest take the M3 and then the M25. Head eastbound towards Gatwick until junction 7. Take this junction and join the M23 south heading for Gatwick airport.

From the South: From the south of Gatwick join the A23 north towards the M23 and London. Get on the M23 and carry on to junction 9. From the southeast take the M20 and head towards London. At junction 3 turn onto the M26 signposted for Heathrow and Gatwick. Join the M25 at J5. From the M25 turn onto the M23 southbound at junction 7.

From the East: Join the M25 from the A13 (Essex), or the M11. Head in the Dartford direction. Stay on the M25 until junction 7. Leave the M25 at junction 7 and head for Gatwick airport.
Directions from the M23:

Come off at junction 9 and head west towards Gatwick Airport. Carry on along the motorway until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit, signposted for Gatwick south terminal. Then take the second exit on the left, sign-posted Long Stay Car Park. Follow signs for Long Stay South bear right until you reach the entrance barrier for Long Stay South car park.

Transfers:

Take around 2 mins to south terminal only, buses are not scheduled and offered on a first come, first served basis. A monorail service runs every 3 minutes from Gatwick South Terminal for passengers requiring the North Terminal.

Security:

The Long Stay hold the Secured Car Parks Award, initiated by the Association of Chief Police Officers, and is protected by security fencing, floodlights, remote cameras and regular patrols by staff and Sussex Police.

Disabled Notes:

The Long Stay has a number of dedicated disabled parking spaces located throughout the car park. Press a Customer Service Intercom point on one of the ticket dispenser machines at entry to be directed to a disabled parking spaces. Please note: Bus stops with disabled parking bays nearby have ramps for ease of access. The long stay coaches are also designed to accommodate wheelchair access

Car Park indemnifies customers for damage resulting from any proven act or negligence on part of its servants or agents.

Extra Notes:

The Long Stay is the offical Gatwick Airport South Terminal car park. Car park does not accept trailers or motor homes.

Please note: The car park post will lead you to an incorrect car park (North terminal Long Stay) if entered into a Sat Nav system as both car parks have the same post code, you will need to follow signs to the South terminal.
