Stranraer is a town in South West (Scotland). It is best known as a ferry port connecting Scotland with Belfast in Northern Ireland. Stranraer has 2 ferry ports. Stranraer port is located in the town itself, and is used by Stena Line Ferries to Belfast. Cairnryan harbour is located 10km to the north of the town, near to the mouth of Loch Ryan, and is used by P&O Ferries to Larne.
